It's been a long time

Happy New Year Sisterlock Sisters,

I have truly missed you all and hope that all is well with each and everyone of you. I have not been blogging for while. So many things have been happening in my life some great and some not so great. But I am back and ready for what this season in life will bring me. I have been locked now for 6 1/2 months and truly enjoying it. My journey with my locks have been wonderful I have lost one lock and had to change my consultant. I have two wonderful new additions to my family. Two beautiful grandsons. These two make 11.

Things are looking up. Every day I am feeling more and more freedom from worrying about what I'm going to about my hair. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks, actually 3:30 am, and I have about a quarter of an inch of new growth, Yeah.

Curiosity (2 weeks 3days locked)

Last night the curiosity got the best of me, I had to know how many locks were on my head. so I started counting and bundling locks of 50. My daughter decided to help. We counted 460 locks.

Today is an overcast day with 70% chance of rain. I will be attending a cookout today at a co-workers, it may rain but do I have to worry about my hair. LOL I think not. Oh lets not forget the humidity. Joining this SL journey has given me a freedom from hair style worry. Thanks Dr. Cornwell.

Right now my hair is rodded on orange and cream perm rods, after spritzing with water. I can't wait to see the results.
